Connexions Birmingham needs to change in 2013-14. Our aim is to provide a NEW SERVICE TO YOUNG PEOPLE IN BIRMINGHAM that is LOCAL — meeting the needs of each area of the city.

Three new Connexions Outreach venues!

Our West Team are opening three new Connexions Outreach venues, where young people who are working with us can get to meet with a Connexions PA. That’s now 22 Outreach venues in total, spread across Birmingham. The new venues are Oakland Young People’s Centre in Handsworth (starting on Tuesday 5 March 2013), Sport 4 Life in Ladywood (starting on Monday 4 March 2013) and Working Links in the city centre (starting Friday 15 March 2013). The Real Apprentice: Monday 25 March 2013

The Real Apprentice event is at the Holte Suite, Aston Villa FC, Trinity Road, Birmingham B6 6HE. It’s open between 3.30pm and 8pm on Monday 25 March 2013.

Our website’s Getting a job section has just been revised and fully updated for 2013. It’s a step-by-step guide to help you find, apply for and get the job you want, and contains information on everything from job hunting and work experience to application forms, CVs, interviews / assessments and starting work. Plus you can download all this help in our Getting a job PDF booklet.

Connexions Birmingham holiday opening

Seasons greetings from Connexions Birmingham to all the young people we are working with!

Broad Street Connexions Centre will be opening between 12.30pm and 3.30pm over the holiday period but will be CLOSED on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Connexions outreach venues won’t be opening during Christmas and New Year. We will be back to normal opening times from Wednesday 2 January 2013. Our website’s Contacting us pages have details of how to get in touch with us, so you can check by phone or email about opening times before making a journey to visit us.

Connexions outreach now available in Aston

We've just opened a new Connexions Outreach service, at the Lighthouse, 100 Alma Way, Aston, B19 2LN. It's an appointment-only service, and is open between 1pm and 4pm on Wednesdays. Contact details, including phone, email and an interactive location map, are on our Connexions West Outreach webpage.
